Although Mac is the perfect operating system, it does require updates in order to make your system run even beter than before. Using Mac OS X Software update you can easily see the newest updates, and install them. It will only take a few clicks and you are up to date! Starting Mac OS X Software update utility

In order to start the Mac OS X Software Update utility, you click the Apple Logo in the top left corner, and click the line that says:
Software Update…
Wait for the utility to check for updates

This loading bar indicates that the utility is checking for new updates, just wait for it to finish, it will only take a few minutes.
Seeing the available software updates

As you can see the utility shows all updates for software that has been installed on your computer.
When you click a update you will see a description below that tells you what the update contains.
The triangle before an updates means that a restart of your Mac is required, if you don’t have time for that right now, just simply uncheck the checkbox and just update that some other time.
When you have checked all updates that you want to install, hit the Install % Items

Now just sit back and relax and wait for the updates to finish, depending on how many updates you have this could take some time.

After all updates have been installed, you will receive a success message right away, just hit the OK button and your are up to date and ready to move on!
